Storing your honey
A cupboard at room temperature with the lid on. Never the fridge — cold only speeds up crystallising.
If it sets solid, stand the jar in warm (not boiling) water for a few minutes. Raw honey does not spoil.
Not suitable for children under one year old.
A warmer light than paraffin, and no soot on the ceiling.
Beeswax burns at a higher temperature than paraffin, which is why the flame sits taller and the light reads warmer and steadier. It also burns clean — no petroleum, no added scent, no black film on the wall behind the candlestick. What you can smell faintly is just honey, because that is all that is in it.

- Burns slower and brighter than paraffin, and drips very little
- No added fragrance — the honey scent is the wax itself
- Trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn
